Job Description

Schedule : Monday- Friday (2 : 00pm-10 : 30pm) with some weekend work and OT

The Forklift Operator / Machine Operator (Production Area) supports the safe, efficient and productive set up, maintenance, and operations of machinery and forklifts (to include general maintenance, cleaning, lubrication (oiling, greasing, etc.), sample retrieval, power washing, lifting and hauling items up and down stairs, dump rework, prepare packaging, package product) as required or assigned by supervisor.

I Forklift Operations :

• Must be trained and certified on the forklift.
• Trained and able to demonstrate hazardous chemical handling.
• Proficient in the operation of the stretch wrappers.
• Must be proficient with a forklift on all operations lines.
• Load trucks in the prescribed manner.
• Must demonstrate the ability to complete and make changes to pick sheets.
• Communicate with visitors and customers in a professional manner.
• Must have basic operational knowledge of roll up doors.
• Must be able to understand the inventory procedure.
• Trained and able to demonstrate pallet transfer operations.
• Must demonstrate the ability to reconcile finished product.

II Machine Operations :

Qualifications

Education :   High School Diploma or equivalent

Related Experience :   Previous relevant experience - preferably in a manufacturing environment

Equipment / Software Skills :   Proficient knowledge in operating Forklift and Machine utilizing in manufacture environment, Basic computer knowledge.

Additional Information

Forklift Driver / Machine Operator Physical :    Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel, stand for long periods of time, work in confined spaces, and work with heights.

Schedule : Monday- Friday (2 : 00pm-10 : 30pm) with some weekend work and OT.
