Job descriptionVisually inspect all parts per stated quality standards. Pull, pack, sort, and organize piece part inventory from various locations on the shop floor. Box, label and fulfill shipping requirements for customer orders. Assist with other manufacturing processes as needed, including operating machines and helping deburr or clean piece parts. High School diploma or equivalent. Experience in the stamping industry or piece / part manufacturing is . Standing and walking – 95%; Sitting – 5%. Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
Overview
Visual Inspection / Packing – Temp to hire. Pay : $15 -$19 / hour depending upon experience. Schedule : Monday - Thursday 7am – 4 : 30pm; Friday 7am-11am. OT : Occasional overtime available Monday-Saturday.
What you need to be successful in this role
- Prior visual inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity using ERP systems in a manufacturing / warehouse environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain focus while working on repetitive tasks.
- Self-starter and work with minimal supervision after initial training period.
- Safety oriented.
- Familiarity with metal stamping a plus
