Job Title : Class C Driver

Position Summary :

As a Class C Driver for Power Trip Rentals, you will be responsible for delivering and recovering a variety of rental equipment, tools, and supplies to and from customer worksites. You will drive a flatbed or roll-back truck, navigating through diverse conditions such as urban, suburban, and rural areas, including construction zones. The ability to drive safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations is essential.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Safely operate assigned vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 26,000 lbs or under , including flatbed or roll-back trucks.
  • Pick-up, transport, and deliver assigned equipment to customer worksites, ensuring the safety and security of the load.
  • Verify the proper loading, securing, and unloading of equipment to prevent damage and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Obtain required signatures to confirm and complete deliveries.
  • Maintain open communication with dispatch regarding delivery status, changes, and updates as needed.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition, reporting any issues immediately.
  • Keep the vehicle clean and presentable at all times.
  • Adhere to the delivery schedule and maintain appropriate rest periods in line with company policies and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed driving, delivery, and equipment logs.
  • Follow all local, state, and federal traffic laws, adjusting driving practices to the current weather and road conditions.

Qualifications :

  • Valid Class C driver’s license .
  • A minimum of [insert years] experience driving flatbed or roll-back trucks preferred.
  • Familiarity with transporting and handling industrial equipment and materials.
