We are seeking a hands-on and highly creative Manager of Content Development with 3–5 years of experience to lead the charge in producing engaging, high-impact content that builds brand awareness and drives engagement. This is an individual contributor role, ideal for a self-starter who thrives on creating compelling video and written content, understands the technical nuances of modern content strategies, and is energized by the opportunity to shape how our brand shows up across digital channels.
You’ll start by executing content yourself and leveraging freelance or agency partners as needed. Over time, you’ll help build a small internal content team as business needs grow. You’ll also play a key role in structuring content in a way that is optimized for the evolving AI-driven search ecosystem.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Content Creation & Execution
Concept, script, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for use across web, social, email, and sales enablement channels.
Write and produce additional content formats including blog posts, case studies, product spotlights, and guides.
Craft content that delivers clear value while staying true to our brand tone and voice.
Content Strategy & Optimization
Develop and maintain a structured content system that aligns with our knowledge graph and supports AI search discoverability (e.g., entity-based structuring, semantic clarity).
Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex ideas into accessible, engaging content.
Manage and evolve the editorial calendar to support strategic marketing initiatives.
External Vendor Coordination
Identify and manage freelance writers, video editors, and creative partners to scale content production efficiently when needed.
Ensure outside resources deliver work that meets brand and quality standards.
Team Building & Leadership
Lay the groundwork for a future internal content team by documenting processes, identifying gaps, and contributing to hiring plans.
Provide light mentorship and creative direction to new team members as they are onboarded.
Performance & Insights
Measure and report on content performance across platforms to guide ongoing improvements.
Use data and insights to inform future content topics, formats, and distribution channels.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
3–5 years of experience in content creation, digital media, or video production, ideally in a B2B or technical industry.
Demonstrated success in creating social and video content that captures attention and drives engagement.
Strong video production skills (scripting, shooting, editing) using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
Excellent written communication skills and the ability to simplify complex topics.
Knowledge of structured content, metadata tagging, and content strategies optimized for AI and semantic search.
Comfortable using content management systems, creative suites, and basic analytics tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects independently while coordinating third-party contributors as needed.
