We are seeking a friendly and trainable Final Assembly technician to join our dynamic team in the guitar manufacturing industry at the world renowned Martin Guitar Company! Responsibilities

  • Assemble intricate guitar products with precision and care.
  • Use a variety of machinery and hand tools to accomplish related jobs.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure each piece meets our luxury standards.
  • Collaborate with production team members to resolve assembly-related issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation to promote efficiency and safety.
  • Use specialized tools and techniques for fine assembly tasks.
  • Stay updated on assembly procedures and techniques to enhance product quality.
  • Provide feedback on process improvements to enhance assembly efficiency.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; experience in assembly is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for craftsmanship.
  • Ability to work with delicate materials and components with precision.
  • Experience with hand tools and equipment used in assembly is a plus.
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively, and work responsibly without extensive supervision.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new assembly techniques.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet production deadlines. A high degree of manual dexterity and close visual attention to detail is required to perform the essential job functions listed and when using various tools (i.e. scraper, drills, chisels, files, sandpaper, hand clamps, etc.).
  • Frequent standing with occasional sitting throughout a normal workday.
  • Work Hours : 1st shift - 5 : 45a.m. – 2 : 15p.m. or 5 : 45a.m. – 3 : 15p.m Monday through Friday

    Production demands may necessitate overtime Monday through Thursday.

    A condition of employment is that all candidates are required to complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
