Our client, a leading logistics and distribution organization, is seeking a Shipping and Receiving specialist to join their team. As a Shipping and Receiving associate, you will be an essential part of the warehouse operations supporting the shipping department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title : Shipping and Receiving

Location : Vernon Hills, IL

Pay Range : $19.00

Shift : First shift, Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM

What's the Job?

• Loading and unloading trucks manually or with pallet jacks to ensure timely shipment and receipt of goods
• Preparing orders for shipment by assembling, addressing, stamping, and verifying merchandise
• Receiving, unpacking, and recording incoming merchandise or materials accurately
• Putting away stock efficiently and verifying product quantities with invoices
• Maintaining safety standards by wearing steel toe shoes and working in a fast-paced environment
