Packer-

Livonia- Afternoon Shift (3pm-1am) Monday-Friday & (1pm-9pm) Saturday

  • Review work order instructions.
  • Complete Work Orders assigned.
  • Review the quality of extrusion products (i.e. : length, surface, dents, defects, etc.) reporting any discrepancies.
  • Bundle products following packing instructions from the work order.
  • Review, verify, and sign the completion of work order.
  • Various plant floor housekeeping, as needed.

This position requires punctuality and excellent attendance, with the physical ability to perform duties assigned including but not limited to extensive sitting, standing / walking, extensive bending / kneeling / squatting, continuous lifting up to 75 pounds from floor to average waist-high platform, use of various hand tools and instruments, daily inspection of operating equipment and extreme temperatures.

Requirements

  • Working experience in a manufacturing facility.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must have excellent attendance and work ethic.
  • Commute to multiple company facilities and personnel, as needed.
  • Engages in self-learning keeping up with industry trends, safety, and company information, as needed.
