As an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your presence and regular patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. This position requires a valid driver's license as you will be responsible for driving as part of your patrol responsibilities. What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including areas where chemicals and petrochemical processes are present.
  • Monitor for unusual activity or potential hazards in the location, and report findings according to site procedures.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials and / or identification of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
  • Document observations, incidents, and / or anomalies as required by site-specific policies.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to help maintain a secure environment, addressing issues as they arise.

    • Minimum Requirements

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
