BASIC FUNCTION (the primary purpose of this position) :

Prepares journal entries and enters journal entries into the accounting system on a timely basis. Reconciles and maintains all assigned general ledger accounts. Produces timely financial information and reports. Assists with analysis, and reports on operational matters as assigned.

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Promote a clean, safe, healthy and friendly work environment for employees and guests; report and direct safety issues to Safety Committee.
• Cash management

Updates check registers daily

Ability to work weekends, holidays and evening hours as business demands. While performing duties of this position, employee is required to sit for extended periods and use hands to; finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Ability to manage stress appropriately, make decisions under pressure, manage anger, fear, hostility and violence of others appropriately. The casino work environment may expose you to second hand smoke on a regular basis.
