Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in ICU care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, managing critically ill patients and executing comprehensive nursing care tailored to individual patient needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a patient ratio of 1 : 2, with the potential for a 3rd patient in stable conditions if necessary.
  • Administer medications and treatments, including IV therapy, blood product administration, and cardiac drips.
  • Conduct assessments and monitor vital signs for patients in critical condition.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams for patient care, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.
  • Assist with special procedures such as central line insertions, intubation, and targeted temperature management.

    • Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience with a proven ability to manage high-acuity patients.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
  • Experience with Epic charting system is necessary.
  • Ability to work in a tobacco and fragrance-free environment.
