Summary :
The Radiology Technologist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services by performing a range of routine and advanced procedures. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a positive patient experience by facilitating smooth patient flow and providing support to fellow imaging technologists. Flexibility is key, as this role may require working various shifts and at different campuses. The technologist will also engage in troubleshooting basic maintenance, quality assurance, and resolving issues related to image processing and archiving. Continuous education, safety adherence, and proficiency in technical advances relevant to licensure are expected.

- Assist in patient throughput by performing necessary examinations and procedures within the scope of licensure and documented competencies.
- Exhibit flexibility by working across different shifts and campuses as required.
- Ensure proper scanning and storage of completed exams in the PACS system.
- Act as a PACS Superuser by following downtime procedures and escalating issues as necessary.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions to the Director / Manager and / or Biomedical personnel, ensuring timely follow-up.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements : Education / Skills :
Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology Technology or an equivalent program required.Experience :
Preferred : 1 year of hospital experience.Basic computer skills required.Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications :
ARRT Radiography (R) certification required.State Licensure required :Texas : MRT by TMB
Louisiana : LRT (R) or (F) by LSRTBENew Mexico : RRT by MIRTP NMEDBLS certification required.Work Schedule : Varies.
Work Type : Per Diem As Needed.
