General Counsel

A company is looking for a General Counsel to serve as the organization's top legal officer.

Key Responsibilities

Provide legal counsel on corporate governance, partnerships, and regulatory compliance

Oversee the foundation's compliance program and manage regulatory relationships

Build and manage the internal legal function, including hiring and coordinating outside counsel

Required Qualifications

J.D. from a top-tier law school and active bar membership in at least one US jurisdiction

10+ years of legal experience, particularly in digital assets or blockchain-related matters

Deep knowledge of US securities law and regulatory frameworks applicable to digital assets

Experience building legal and compliance functions in a high-growth environment

Ability to operate autonomously and make judgment calls in a fast-paced setting
