At Literacy Volunteers of Southern CT, we believe that literacy changes lives. Our mission is to provide free, high-quality literacy and English language instruction to adults, empowering them with the skills needed to achieve their personal, educational, and employment goals. We serve a diverse community of adult learners in the Greater Milford and Stratford CT areas, supported by passionate volunteers, tutors, and donors.

We are seeking a talented, detail-oriented Volunteer Grant Writer to assist us in securing funding through grants, including writing compelling, mission-aligned proposals and reports. If you have a strong background in nonprofit grant writing, a passion for advancing literacy and education, and are able to volunteer at various times throughout the year (especially the first quarter) please reply!
