In this role, you will lead the development and launch of the new EdgeBeam Wireless hardware devices. You will make high judgment decisions, present persuasive cases to executive leadership and have an enduring impact on the future of EdgeBeam Wireless Devices. You will work closely with HW, OS, and software engineering teams at OEM partners, Telco Service providers, Studio Broadcast. You will also establish best practices towards user experience for the end-user. You will work closely with the finance, marketing, customer service, and leadership, and ship devices to customers.. You will be an individual contributor that will be tasked with leading cross-functionally through high complexity and high ambiguity product development cycles, while building excellent intuition for one-way door decisions. In this role you will also work on hardware systems and platform software / OS bringing in your unique perspective into the complex systems that make winning products.

You will work with a broad array of technical and non-tech stakeholders from design to architecture and core technologies all the way through product development and commercialization. You will have visibility at the highest levels of EdgeBeam Wireless's leadership team, and work on our most strategic future initiatives. You will innovate to bring new devices, features and experiences, even as you manage the operational rigor of rolling out high quality devices on time and within budget.

The position is based out of Boston, Massachusetts. Pay Range for this position is -$145,000-$185,000. Visa sponsorship is not available at this time.

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead the development of the enterprise B2B and B2B2C focused product strategy and vision for next-generation devices and experiences within Mobile, TV, and IoT Displays.
  • Oversee programs in various stages of the lifecycle- from ideation to development to launch / retirement.
  • Define creative, high quality, long term product area roadmaps based on overall platform strategy and vision
  • Develop detailed business requirements and user stories that are used to create product specifications and architecture for each product and application
  • Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance and operational support load
  • Drive product launches in concert with Engineering, Operations Go to Market, PR, and other Product teams
  • Create buy-in for the product / feature / service vision and strategy with technical and leadership teams
  • Operate with influence across a variety of cross functional technical, design and sales teams
  • Develop demos, collaterals, and evangelize EdgeBeam Wireless products and services together with marketing and sales teams

30 Days : Learn EdgeBeams platform, products, and value proposition. Shadow sales calls and demos.

90 Days : Lead technical discovery and demos for prospects. Leverage customer pain points to create problem definition. Contribute to proposals and solution designs. Meet existing partners to understand capabilities and limitations.

180 Days : Own technical sales cycles for Digital Signage, Public Safety, and IoT customers nationwide. Drive proof-of-concepts and act as the trusted technical partner to major accounts.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Product Management or Technical program management focussed on developing hardware devices
  • Past experience working as an engineer within software or hardware development roles within IoT, media distribution, industrial connectivity
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computers Engineering
  • Experience technical product management - feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product, owning / driving roadmap strategy and definition, product marketing, business development or technology experience for B2B platforms, SaaS, or Network services.
  • Experience in leveraging AI tools towards product management and development
  • Experience with end to end product delivery, managing OEM, partners, GTM channels
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Excellent program management skills - Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Monday and other productivity tools
  • Well versed with TV Broadcasting technologies (ATSC), Fixed Wireless Access (4G / 5G), Wifi, A / V Codecs and compression techniques
  • Additional Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with Engineers and as a Hardware engineering on product enhancements
  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
  • Experience in developing Comcast devices, FWA Device development or Wifi router a plus
  • Experience working on services side or direct integrations with Roku, Fire TV, chromecast, appleTV, Sony playstation, XBox, TV manufacturers
  • Bonus points on experience working with Telco, MVNO
