SQL Database Administrator

A company is looking for a SQL Database Administrator to join their IT Infrastructure team.

Key Responsibilities

Support a large-scale SQL Server environment with over 1000 databases and 60 SQL Servers

Administer and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases across various environments using tools like SSMS and PowerShell

Collaborate with stakeholders to manage database security, perform migrations, and ensure high availability and performance tuning

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA in enterprise environments

Strong proficiency in performance tuning, backups / restores, and replication

Senior level experience with SQL Server versions 2016 and newer

Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions, such as Azure SQL, is a plus

Proven ability to work independently and manage priorities in a dynamic environment
