As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee all phases of construction projects — from preconstruction through closeout — ensuring successful delivery for both the client and the company.
Position Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of assigned commercial construction projects, including budget, schedule, quality, safety, and client relations. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who excels at coordinating teams, resolving challenges, and maintaining open communication between stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination for multiple commercial construction projects
- Manage project teams, including superintendents, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure efficient workflow and communication
- Oversee project cost controls, change management, and contract administration
- Ensure project delivery aligns with company standards for quality, safety, and client satisfaction
- Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure scope accuracy and compliance
- Conduct regular site visits and meetings with clients, design teams, and trade partners
- Identify and resolve issues affecting cost, schedule, or quality throughout the project lifecycle
- Participate in preconstruction and estimating efforts by providing input on logistics, scheduling, and constructability
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and progress reports
- Foster long-term relationships with owners, architects, and subcontractors through effective communication and professionalism
Qualifications
5–10 years of experience managing commercial construction projects for a general contractorProven experience delivering projects ranging from $5M to $100M+ in markets such as healthcare, education, interiors, retail, or industrialBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience)Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and ExcelStrong understanding of project scheduling, cost control, and construction management principlesExcellent leadership, organisational, and communication skillsOSHA 30 certification preferredDemonstrated ability to manage client expectations and deliver projects on time and within budget
