EM / COOP Analyst

Heartland Consulting is actively looking for a highly motivated applicant to support our Emergency Management Division. The EM / COOP Analyst will report to the Division Manager for duty assignments.

Required Experience :

• 2+ years experience in Emergency Management and / or Continuity of Operations
• Strong writing / copy editing skills, database and list management skills, and expertise with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong SharePoint development skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Proficiency using HSEEP documents
• Thorough understanding of Federal Continuity Directives, Presidential Policy Directives, National Response Framework, and National Incident Management System
• Expert written and oral communication skills
• Bachelors degree in homeland security, continuity of operations and exercise planning, or related field.
• Preferred Associate Emergency manager (AEM) / Certified Emergency Manager (CEM), Professional Continuity Practitioner (PCP) / Master Continuity Practitioner (MCP), and / or Master Exercise Practitioner (MEP) certification.

Candidate should perform all functions independently with minimal supervision and oversight.
