About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Duration : 13 to 20 weeks

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : 1 year

License : Registered Nurse license required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Must-Have :

Experience in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias

Experience with electronic medical record system

Description :

Option of a 13 to 20-week contract.

Must work 2 of the 3 main holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year.

Night shift, 3 shifts per week, totaling 36 hours.

ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.

Experience in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias is necessary.

Long-term acute care experience is preferred.

Patient demographic includes adults and geriatrics.

Daily census is approximately 35 patients.

Staff will work on both the ICU and Med-Surg units.

Interdisciplinary support is available, including physical therapy and respiratory services.

Floating to other units may be required based on census concerns.

Additional skills in critical care management are beneficial.

Ongoing professional development and training are provided.
