Cyber SME- Zero Trust

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Zero-Trust Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead the review, assessment, and implementation of Zero Trust principles across the Operational Technology (OT) systems on designated maritime vessels. This professional will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with Zero Trust (ZT) implementation guidelines outlined by the Department of Defense (DoD) and other relevant cybersecurity frameworks and regulations.

What You Will Do :

• Provide support around rule and regulatory interpretations.
• Act as a mentor, provide advice and expertise to Cybersecurity departments.
• Prepare and present training material to assist in educating ABS staff, support client seminars, etc.
• Assessment and Compliance Analysis

Assess OT systems for Zero Trust compliance using established frameworks and guidelines.

Identify compliance gaps and propose actionable solutions.

Evaluate system architecture and technical documentation to address data gaps and recommend improvements.

Deliver clear, actionable compliance reports for OT systems and ship classes.

Education and Experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Expert in developing reports, analyses, and implementation plans for technical and non-technical audiences.

Salary : $180-200k

Reporting Relationships :

Reports to a Manager, Director or Executive level position.
