Nightwing is looking for an on-site Proposal Manager to lead the preparation of compliant, compelling proposals of varying size and complexity, classified and unclassified. The Proposal Manager works with multiple operational and functional areas to plan, develop and improve customer-facing proposals. The Proposal Manager is responsible for guiding and directing the pursuit team throughout the proposal development process while implementing and adhering to proposal development best practices. As a player-coach, the Proposal Manager contributes to the proposal by drafting, editing, and proofreading the proposal to ensure the response is compliant and compelling.

Proposal Manager Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure the timely submission of compliant and compelling proposals
• Collaborate internally and externally (team members and consultants) to develop compelling offerings
• Facilitate strength-based win strategy planning and implementation
• Create and track overall and volume level compliance matrices
• Create detailed, comprehensive proposal schedules and timelines
• Assign and track taskings to ensure clear roles and responsibilities
• Lead the planning, development and refinement of proposal content
• Work with subject matter experts to understand project goals and objectives
• Lead and contribute in content planning, solutioning and strategy
• Research and gather information to support proposal content
• Develop and maintain proposal templates and guidelines
• Provide proposal development training in accordance with industry best practices
• Track and report on proposal submissions and outcomes
