As a Relief Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering compassionate care. We offer competitive pay that recognizes your skills and dedication, with base pay ranging from $21.23 to $31.26 per hour based on experience, plus a bilingual differential for those who speak Spanish.
Position Highlights :
- Base pay is $21.23-$31.26 / hour DOE (Total pay with bilingual differential can range from $22.08-$32.51 / hour DOE)
- Additional pay for your bilingual skills!
- Clinic hours from Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 am to 7 : 00 pm; shifts are available in 8-hour or 10-hour formats, requiring flexibility to float to other clinic locations as needed.
What You'll Do :
Maintain and update patient medical records, ensuring accurate documentation of vital signs, treatments, and medications.Prepare for patient visits by reviewing medical files and collaborating with providers to streamline the scheduling process.Maintain a welcoming clinical environment by preparing exam rooms, explaining procedures to patients, providing education and responding to their questions.Assist physicians during exams and procedures, collect lab specimens, and administer medications as needed.Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED required.Completion of an accredited medical assisting program (minimum 720 training hours, including a 160-hour clinical externship).Preferred : One year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant.CPR certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.Medical Assistant Certification or interim certification from the WA State Department of Health is required.Bilingual (English / Spanish) at a proficiency level of 10 is necessary.Strong medical knowledge and understanding of clinical practices.Excellent people skills to effectively interact with diverse patients and situations.Ability to multitask and manage a variety of responsibilities efficiently.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Epic, and EMR systems.Our Mission Statement
