QC Calibration Specialist - Manufacturing

Inspect quality inspection tools and devices to insure their precision meet standards, conduct appropriate calibration steps on inspection tools and devices to achieve target standards.

Minimize any measurement uncertainty by ensuring the accuracy of test equipment.

Managing calibration records in Gage Pack.

Insuring all is traceable to NIST standards.

Assisting QC Inspectors and machinists.

Preparing calibration reports and certifications.

Monitor inspection instrument calibrations for company owned and employee measuring tools.

Determine causes of measurement errors and recommend corrective actions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

• Stoop / bend / kneel / crouch / balance / climb on an occasional basis
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Heavy work, lifting up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds on a rare basis
