Title : Data Engineer - Fintech Exp Required
Schedule : Hybrid – 3 days / week onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

As they expand data capabilities, we’re seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team in a greenfield role —a high-impact opportunity to build systems, pipelines, and infrastructure from the ground up.
Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and storage at petabyte scale
- Architect systems to handle unstructured and semi-structured data , including credit file data
- Work with cloud technologies (AWS) to support data storage, streaming, and compute needs
- Implement and manage data infrastructure and systems for analytics and credit decisioning
- Ensure compliance with SOC2 and other relevant data handling standards
- Collaborate across teams to define the best direction and tools for data management in a greenfield environment
- Utilize tools like Snowflake or Databricks to develop scalable and efficient data solutions
- Apply ETL best practices to streamline complex workflows and integrate disparate data sources
- Use Python and Github to write reusable code and manage version-controlled deployments
- Partner with product, analytics, and compliance teams to support a wide range of credit-focused initiatives
Qualifications :
4+ years of professional experience as a Data EngineerProven experience working with AWS , Python , and either Snowflake or DatabricksStrong experience with ETL pipeline design and implementationBackground in handling large-scale (petabyte-level) datasetsExperience working with unstructured data (credit file data experience is a plus)Solid understanding of SOC2 and data compliance standardsExperience in a fintech or credit analytics organization is requiredHands-on experience with Github for version control and collaborationDemonstrated ability to build data systems and pipelines from scratch in greenfield environmentsBenefits :
