Required Skills, Experience, and Education :

- Ability to obtain an Active Secret clearance in a reasonable timeframe.
- This position requires access to federal facilities.

- Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use.
- Ability to independently execute detailed designs for complex steel and / or concrete structures.
- Proficiency in TEKLA software, including steel and reinforced concrete detailing.
- In-depth knowledge of Detailing for Steel Construction, ACI Detailing Manual SPI-66, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) practices.
- Strong understanding of engineering deliverables such as drawings and specifications, as well as construction methods for steel and concrete structures.
- Familiarity with the work processes of other disciplines and departments in a project environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly express technical issues.
- Proficiency in office automation tools.
- Broad knowledge of structural engineering design principles and their practical application.
- High School diploma or equivalent and 12 or more years of experience, or Bachelor's degree and 10 or more years of experience.
Desired Skills, Experience, and Education :
