A Physical Therapy Aide supports physical therapists by preparing treatment areas, assisting patients, and performing administrative tasks to ensure effective therapy sessions.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare Treatment Areas : Set up equipment and ensure treatment rooms are clean and organized for therapy sessions.

Assist Patients : Help patients with mobility challenges to move to and from treatment areas, and assist them during therapy exercises as directed by physical therapists.

Administrative Support : Perform clerical duties such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and maintaining patient records.

Monitor Patient Progress : Observe patients during exercises and report any concerns to the supervising physical therapist.

Maintain Equipment : Ensure therapy equipment is sanitized and in good working order, and assist with inventory management of supplies.
