Job Description

Cydecor is looking for a Senior Navy Mechanical Engineer to analyze UxV designs and tackle technical challenges in a dynamic environment and be part of a mission-driven team that shapes the future of naval engineering and technology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct review and analysis of UxV designs, address technical issues that arise during design and construction, and develop future UxV requirements and acquisition documents.
• Perform engineering analyses of customer mission and performance requirements to define UxV attributes in engineering terms.
• Perform ship design and construction Contractor and Subcontractor engineering and production analyses to include but not limited to physical progress, design progress and material procurement.
• Review engineering systems' technical data, engineering drawings, technical manuals, ILS data, ILS Checklists, and configuration baseline documentation to determine changes required to update requirements and assist in establishing new baseline specified by contract, contract specifications, engineering drawings, technical manuals, and specifications.

Minimum : Interim or Active Secret security clearance; Preferred : Interim or Active Top Secret security clearance.

Education

Bachelor's level degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Compensation and Benefits

The projected compensation range for this position is $166,100.00-$185,200.00. There are numerous factors that can impact a final salary / hourly rate including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the role, work location, education / certifications, and a contract's Labor Categories.
