Job Description : Xenith Solutions is seeking a UI / UX Designer with agile methodology experience to join our team supporting our Customs and Border Protection (CBP) located in Northern Virginia! The work is currently Remote but will be in Ashburn, VA, when operations return to normal Join our growing team of professionals supporting the best practices in Agile Software Development for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). If selected, you will serve as an Agile Scrum team member providing UI / UX design and development for the delivery of releasable software in short sprint cycles. You will be responsible for activities associated with software projects by working in close collaboration with business analysts, software developers / engineers, stakeholders, and end users within Agile processes. Responsibilities, but not limited to :
Conceptualizing and designing custom software application capabilities for a variety of legacy and modernized systems with limited oversightLead the design of a cohesive look-and-feel and standardized user experience across the applicationsTaking a leadership role in collaborations between the creative strategy, UX, visual design, development team, and client to create effective design strategiesDeveloping compelling, creative, and user-focused experiences and points of view that align with clients’ business objectivesCollaborating with cross discipline team to create and execute experience style guides, interaction patterns, and information design standardsDevelop wireframes, mockups, and / or prototypes supporting design ideas and effectively communicate ideas to various stakeholdersEstablish standard layout and style libraries across applicationsWork closely the functional team to determine feasibility of requirements and collaborate on design ideas and improvementsEnsuring product quality and timeliness of work, providing advice and guidance, resolving problems to meet objectives, and providing periodic performance reportsProviding mentoring to junior members of the teamQualifications : Required :
