The Client Systems Technician installs and repairs equipment; instructs customers in equipment operation; provides technical assistance; checks equipment for malfunctions. This role supports EWOCS contract operations at Patrick Space Force Base, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, and Vandenberg Air Force Base, delivering high-quality communications and IT solutions.
Responsibilities
- The Client Systems Technician installs and repairs equipment; instructs customers in equipment operation; provides technical assistance; checks equipment for malfunctions.
- Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and / or field locations.
- Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance.
- Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problems in minimum time.
- Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change.
- Assembles, installs and configures systems and equipment in accordance with site assessments and schematics.
- Completes system programming and optimization as part of the installation process.
- Performs routine system maintenance and analysis functions, including hardware configurations and adding, removing and replacing equipment components.
- Provides on-site end-user training on system operation, maintenance and limited troubleshooting.
- Maintains effective customer communications and relations.
- Travels frequently to customer sites and performs field technician service duties as assigned.
- Provides CAC / PKI and RA / LRA functions related to the creation, revocation, suspension and issuance of SIPRNet Tokens and SIPRNet Administrative Tokens.
- Works as part of the team to support the SLD 30 and CFSCC missions on a 24 / 7 / 365 basis.
- Works final processing of DD Form 2875s for SIPRNet account requests and subsequent creation of SIPRNet user accounts.
General Supervision
Under general supervision the Customer Service Representative Associate shall work on semi-routine assignments and may require deviation from accepted practices.Work is checked since errors may cause delay or expense. May assist and train less experienced personnel.Required Experience / Qualifications
MUST have a CompTIA Security+, or equivalent 8570 IAT Level II certification.High School plus advanced training, and 3 - 4 yrs. of experience.Special Requirements / Security Clearance
Active DoD Secret Clearance or ability to maintain and eligibility to obtain a TS / SCI Security Clearance.Salary Range
Salary Minimum : $68,640Salary Mid : $72,000Salary Maximum : $75,000The annual base salary provided is a guideline for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
