Job Title : Part-Time Cashier
Job Summary :

We are seeking a friendly and dependable Part-Time Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring they have a positive shopping experience. You will handle transactions efficiently and provide exceptional customer service. If you are detail-oriented and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply!

Key Responsibilities :

Greet customers with a welcoming demeanor and assist with their inquiries.

Accurately process transactions including cash, credit, and debit payments.

Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.

Verify the age of customers when selling age-restricted products.

Provide product information and promote store loyalty programs.

Handle returns and exchanges according to store policies.

Balance the cash register at the end of your shift and report discrepancies.

Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous retail or cash handling experience is a plus but not required.

Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Basic computer skills to operate POS systems.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to stand for extended periods.

Comfortable handling and lifting up to 40 pounds when necessary.
