Day-to-Day : See all patients in the NICU, conduct neonatal and prenatal consults, and attend all high-risk deliveries>

Evening / Night : Take calls from home. PEDS HOSP handle straightforward NICU admissions; neonatologists come in for complicated cases.>

After-Hours Call Reasons : Pre-term delivery ( 30%, Stabilization for transport to higher-level careEMR : EpicHospital : 8-bed NICU Level II, 463 general bedsGroup / support : 7 Pediatric Hospitalists, 2 Full-Time Equivalent Neonatologists>

PEDS HOSP are in-house 24 / 7, attending deliveries, admitting and caring for well-baby services, and caring for NICU babies overnight. Transition Nurse and Respiratory Therapist assist as needed.Requirements (boards, license) : Board certified (board eligible if recently trained) with a California license, CA DEA, and COVID vaccine
