What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail location. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns. Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points within the retail environment. Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergencies or drills by following established protocols. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to staff and patrons. Minimum Requirements : Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
