    Orthopaedic Associates of Maine is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic outpatient team in beautiful Portland, ME . This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside leading orthopaedic specialists and provide personalized, evidence-based care that truly makes a difference in patients' lives.

    About the Role

    As a Physical Therapist at Orthopaedic Associates of Maine, you'll work closely with physicians to develop and deliver customized treatment plans that help patients regain function, mobility, and confidence. You'll treat a wide range of orthopaedic conditions — from post-surgical rehabilitation to preventative care — using advanced techniques, hands-on therapy, and tailored exercise programs.

    You'll have the time, tools, and team support to focus on what matters most : your patients' recovery and long-term wellness.

    What You'll Do

    • Evaluate, plan, and implement physical rehabilitation programs for patients referred by our physicians.
    • Design individualized treatment plans focused on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and mobility.
    • Collaborate closely with physicians and other clinicians to ensure continuity and quality of care.
    • Use manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education to reduce pain, prevent injury, and promote healthy movement.
    • Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and motivate patients throughout their recovery journey.
    • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and uphold the highest professional and ethical standards.
    • What You Bring

    • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
    • Current Maine PT license and BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
    • Outpatient orthopaedic experience preferred
    • Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills
    • A compassionate, patient-centered approach and a commitment to excellence
