Certifications : Passed the American Occupational Therapy Certification Exam; Current CPR certification

Must-Have :

• Knowledge of psychiatric diagnosis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Description :

The Occupational Therapist, Psychiatry provides medically prescribed occupational therapy services to inpatients and / or outpatients.

The goal is to restore function and assist the patient in reaching maximum capabilities to assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of their disability.

The job duties include providing assessments and treatments that do not involve invasive procedures.

Work often requires internal contacts outside the workgroup to exchange work-related information.

Contact with external parties involves providing or obtaining factual information.

Normal courtesy and tact are required when dealing with others.
