Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Set-Up Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce high-precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications. Ideal candidates will have strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of machining processes, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Requirements

• Candidate must be able to set up and operate a CNC Lathe
• Candidate must be able to Edit G-Code
• Candidate must be able to Teach Tools Manually.
• Candidate must be able to bore jaws.
• The ability to troubleshoot and operate G-Code Lathes

Perform first-article and in-process inspections using measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.)

Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders

Adjust machine settings, tooling, and offsets to maintain part quality

Troubleshoot basic machining issues and make recommendations for improvement

Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Complete production and inspection documentation as required

Qualifications :

High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school training preferred.

2+ years of CNC machine setup and operation experience.

Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.

Familiar with G-code and M-code programming (basic understanding).

Strong knowledge of machine shop tools and inspection equipment.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
