Decreases fall risk and improves mobility and independence. Assists with discharge planning to enhance the patient's functional mobility. Treats patients with movement dysfunction or pain. Aims to improve their ability to perform daily tasks. Decreases risk of adverse events such as falls and DVT. Enhances involvement in work tasks and assists in recovery from surgery. Improves patient outcomes. Documents all that occurs regarding patient care. Includes evaluations, progress notes, discharges, and daily notes. Manages insurance approvals and denials as well as phone conversations. Engages in communication with providers, insurance companies, patients, and other rehabilitation staff. Assists in cleaning treatment rooms and manages laundry duties. Helps maintain common areas such as bathrooms. Performs other duties as requested.
