Job Description

Quality assurance : Monitor and verify that all painting and coating applications conform to project specifications and industry standards. Surface and environmental checks : Inspect surface preparation and monitor environmental conditions like temperature, humidity, and dew point before and during application. Performance testing : Conduct various tests, including checking coating thickness, adhesion, curing times, and visual inspection for defects. Documentation : Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, material certifications, and corrective actions. Material verification : Ensure the correct materials are used by checking material certifications and verifying proper storage and handling. Issue resolution : Collaborate with contractors and project engineers to identify and resolve coating-related problems and ensure rework meets specifications. Final inspection : Conduct final inspections to confirm the finished work meets all quality requirements for finish, coverage, and overall quality.
