1. Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.

2. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Unit Bio :

The Surgical Oncology unit cares for a variety of surgical oncology specialties, such as complex Upper and Lower GI, GYNOncology and Head and Neck. This unit also serves as an acute medical / surgical unit which includes 12 Intermediate Level Care beds.

The nursing staff have worked to create a work environment which values excellence, team work and peer support. Nursing staff work collaboratively with leadership in a shared governance model. R4 is a very goal driven unit and they encourage staff to pursue professional goals.

Summary :

The Nursing Unit Secretary role performs clerical, receptionist, and transporter duties.This is a full-time, day shift position.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Education : High School diploma or GED preferred.
• License / Certifications : Current BLS certification preferred or may be required based on location.
• Experience : One year of hospital or health care setting preferred.
