Our client's mission is to expand humanity's frontier into the solar system and beyond. The next step on this journey is to enable manufacturing and habitation in Low Earth Orbit (LEO). Our client's plan to make this a reality is to build artificial gravity space stations.

The Job

Our client is looking for a Senior Flight Software Engineer , reporting to Senior Manager, Flight Software . You will develop fault-tolerant code for safety-critical systems, and work closely with the avionics team to integrate flight code with avionics hardware. Most importantly, you will work as part of a team that believes that finding and fixing errors is a positive experience that will make everyone's work better, and makes the team stronger as we continuously improve our processes and products.

Responsibilities :

• Develop state machine architecture for all station systems and sub-systems
• Work with subject matter experts to code flight software algorithms for various station systems and sub-systems
• Work with subject matter experts to develop and interface with high fidelity physics simulator and with various devices for hardware in the loop simulations
• Develop ground software for command and control, and for telemetry aggregation
• Develop unit and integrated tests, and establish continuous integration framework for flight and ground software
