Leadership Role in Loan Operations

This role provides oversight and strategic direction to a group of Loan Operations team members responsible for all commercial and corporate closing activity, as well as closing, booking, funding, and servicing functions within the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) portfolio of the bank. This senior level role will have direct responsibility for budget management and will be a stakeholder in the execution of the Bank's strategic plan as it relates to Loan Operations. This individual will work with line of business leaders and executives to develop support solutions for existing and new products and will work directly with credit and risk partners to ensure proper controls are in place to support the bank's loan products.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and manage the Loan Originations team with a strong focus on CRE loan closing and funding operations.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development to team leads and individual contributors, fostering expertise in systems, loan documentation, due diligence, and operational procedures.
• Conduct performance evaluations, merit reviews, and manage disciplinary actions and terminations as necessary.
• Interview, hire, and onboard new talent, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and culture.
