Your Role + The Opportunity

As the Senior Architect , you will join the firm at our Columbus, OH office and be responsible for leading the projects from design through construction to successful completion in our Discovery & Science division. Your work will require you to have highly developed expertise in project management, architectural design, and technical knowledge. This management-level role provides the opportunity to pursue professional growth.

The Role Priorities

• Manage the clients, project staff, and consultants through the project process on multiple complex projects.
• Utilize operational management tools, including workload forecasting, resource planning, and project team development.
• Manage and develop project documents as per client, regulatory, and industry standards.
• Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including identifying and recruiting high-quality staff with leadership potential.
• Create and foster relationships with key clients while managing client expectations.
• Maintain project budgets to ensure profitability.
• Apply interpersonal communication skills to build strong working relationships, resolve conflicts, and motivate the project team.
• Collaborate across other disciplines with internal and external team members.
• Promote a workplace culture that is consistent with the BHDP Collective Ambition.
