Nyota Maternal Health is on a mission to eliminate preventable maternal mortality among Black and Latina women through culturally-informed AI technology. We combine predictive analytics with cultural assurance to identify high-risk pregnancies earlier, empower clinicians with insights, and build personalized care pathways that save lives.

The Role

We are seeking an  AI Engineer  to join our founding team as an equity partner. This is an opportunity to apply your technical expertise to a critical global health challenge and help shape an early-stage health tech startup with high social impact.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and optimize AI-driven predictive models for maternal health outcomes.
• Develop and refine chatbot solutions that deliver culturally competent, personalized health support.
• Work with clinical advisors and community health experts to validate and improve AI solutions.
• Deploy and scale solutions using  Azure AI Studio  and related cloud technologies.
• Collaborate with the founding team to set technical strategy and contribute to product roadmap decisions.
