Precision Sheet Metal TIG / MIG Welder
Schulte Staffing Solutions is partnering with a manufacturing client in Georgetown, MA to add experienced TIG / MIG welders to the team.
A day on the 2nd shift
At 1 : 30 PM, you clock in, gear up with PPE, and review the day’s build list. You pull prints for tight-tolerance, thin-gauge sheet metal assemblies, confirm critical dimensions, and stage your fixtures. Throughout the shift, you alternate between TIG for fine seams and MIG for production welds, verifying each step with calipers and gauges. You collaborate with fabricators and supervisors, keep your workstation organized, and close the evening knowing your welds will pass the most demanding quality checks.

- Shift : 2nd shift, 1 : 30 PM – 10 : 00 PM
- Compensation : $27.00 – $32.00 per hour, DOE
What you'll do
Execute high-quality TIG and MIG welds on precision sheet metal componentsRead and interpret fabrication and machining blueprints to meet specificationsUse precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers) to confirm tolerancesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaWork cross-functionally with team members to keep production on trackFollow all safety rules and company proceduresCommunicate clearly with supervisors and peersHit quality targets and production timelines consistentlyWhat you bring
