Production Control & Work Order Processor

Elmira Stamping & Manufacturing-North is currently seeking a Production Control & Work Order Processor to join our team. About Us :

Elmira Stamping & Manufacturing has specialized in medium- to high-volume contract metal stamping, progressive die stamping, and CNC machining since 1970.

Elmira Stamping & Manufacturing specializes in both deep-draw and progressive die stamping. We are equipped with man servo, high-speed, mechanical, and hydraulic stamping presses ranging from 30 to 400 tons. Our machines are optimized for automation with in-die contact and non-contact sensors. We are also experts in secondary put-and-take operations for parts that cannot be completed in a progressive die. Additionally, we have multiple 5-axis Emmegi XT extrusion milling centers with a bed capacity of 30 feet, plus turrets, lasers, and more.

Position Overview

• Create, release, and manage work orders based on production schedules, customer orders, and inventory levels
• Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, and production teams to ensure work orders are complete and accurate
• Monitor production progress and update schedules to reflect changes in priorities or capacity
• Maintain accurate records of work order status, material availability, and job completion
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in work orders, BOMs, and routing information
• Assist in planning and scheduling production activities to optimize workflow and minimize downtime
• Communicate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of parts and finished goods
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in production planning and control processes

Total Compensation Package :

This role is based in the State of New York which requires the disclosure of salary ranges. The expected salary range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00 per hour. Elmira Stamping & Manufacturing provides salary ranges as a good faith estimate of what the company reasonably expects to pay for the position at the time of posting. Compensation offered to a selected candidate may vary based on factors such as (but not limited to) a candidate's job-related qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and geographic location.
