AMAZING company located in San Clemente!! Seeking several ENTRY LEVEL candidates to be an Automated Optical Inspection Operator!
Temp to Hire! Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor AOI machines to inspect PCBAs and other electronic assemblies for defects.
- Load and unload PCBAs onto the AOI machine according to established procedures.
- Interpret AOI inspection results and identify defects such as missing components, incorrect placement, solder defects, and surface imperfections.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of defects found.
- Perform basic maintenance and calibration of AOI equipment.
- Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Checking machinery to ensure they are operated in a safe manner
- Communicate effectively with other team members, including production supervisors and quality control personnel.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues related to AOI inspection.
- Adhere to all quality standards and specifications.
- Potentially assist in the training of other AOI operators.
- Alert supervisory and maintenance colleagues regarding necessary equipment repairs
- Other various tasks as needed to support customer requirements and production schedule
- Ensure assembled product meets compliance standards

Required Skills and Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle defects.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.Basic understanding of electronic components, functions, and surface mount technology (SMT) processes.Proficiency in operating computers, navigating software, and performing basic math calculations.Ability to follow written / verbal instructions, with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Effective communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to work independently or as part of a team; knowledge of quality control principles. Knowledge of quality control principles and practices.Must be a U.S. Person per EAR Part 772 and ITAR 120.15Desired Skills and Experience
