A Successful FASTSIGNS Graphic Designer & Production Assistant Will :

  • Graphic Design

    • Create computer-generated full-color graphics and vinyl output for signs, banners, and displays

  • Complete or modify designs from customer drawings or files, ensuring accuracy and production readiness
  • Determine layout, typography, and design elements based on space, aesthetic appeal, and production requirements
  • Maintain customer logo libraries and convert graphic files as needed
  • Printer Operation & Sign Production

    • Operate large-format printers, plotters, laminators, and related equipment

  • Prepare substrates, weed vinyl, mask graphics, and mount prints
  • Assist with light assembly of signs and graphics for installation
  • Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy, correct materials, and proper finishing
  • Help maintain equipment and work areas in clean, working order
  • Office & Customer Support

    • Assist with answering phones, greeting customers, and handling basic inquiries

  • Use company software to track and update sign projects
  • Support team members with general office tasks when needed

    • Ideal Qualifications for FASTSIGNS Graphic Designer :

  • 12 years of graphic design or print production experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent (college-level design training preferred)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator; familiarity with Photoshop a plus
  • Comfort with both computer work and hands-on production tasks
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn new equipment and techniques
