Job description

Job Summary Under supervision, operate production equipment according to instructions to ensure proper operations, safety, and product output. This key role coordinates team activities to ensure that production machines operate safely, properly, and efficiently, meeting quality standards.Job Description MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Machine Operation & Maintenance : Operate and monitor machines, addressing stoppages and issues. Set up, start up, shut down, and troubleshoot equipment. Perform routine clean-up and minor maintenance. Regularly clean equipment and production areas. Material Handling & Packaging : Pack finished goods and handle materials. Operate boxing lines and manage pallets. Prepare product for transfer and / or final processing. Quality Control : Complete paperwork and reports accurately and on time. Inspect products for quality and accuracy. Adjust processes to maintain quality standards. Additional Responsibilities Assist with other tasks and projects as needed. Ensure material availability and support team needs. Meet company standards for accuracy, performance, and attendance. Follow company policies and procedures. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS Education High School Diploma or at least 2 years of work experience within a high volume manufacturing environment in lieu Work Experience 6 Months of experience in a manufacturing environment Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Must be able to stand and / or walk for long periods, including an entire shift. Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, squat, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and balance, with the capability to move products, supplies, and boxes weighing 5 to 50 pounds. Visual acuity (near and far), depth perception, field of vision, and color vision are required. Must be able to read, write, and understand the English language, including charts, indicators, instructions on controls, and operator checklists. Basic math skills, including fractional and decimal equations. Ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve team objectives. Willingness to work in varying temperature environments (warm and cold). Must be able to operate a pallet jack. The anticipated salary range for this position : $19.75 - $27.75 HourlyThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold. Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average.
