About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Resource Development Officer (CRDO) to serve as its chief growth architect and lead fundraiser. The CRDO will be responsible for designing and executing a scalable model to significantly expand both financial and in-kind resources. This senior executive will lead revenue-generating functions across four strategic channels : fundraising, B2B partnerships, B2C initiatives, and community engagement. Key responsibilities include strategic leadership and growth planning, fundraising and major donor development, corporate and sustainability partnerships, consumer and community engagement, team leadership, and capacity building. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO and executive team to build and sustain multimillion-dollar partnerships, develop major donor pipelines, and strengthen internal fundraising and partnership capacity.
Applicants for the CRDO position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' senior-level experience in fundraising, corporate partnerships, or business development, with a proven track record of raising or generating $5M+ annually. The role requires a leader with a deep understanding of sustainability, CSR, and ESG-aligned partnerships, and exceptional relationship management, communication, and storytelling skills. The ideal candidate will be a strategic, entrepreneurial, and mission-driven individual who can translate corporate responsibility into social impact and is adept at securing transformational gifts and forging high-value partnerships. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree preferred, and the candidate should be a strong leader with a collaborative mindset and a focus on data-driven decision-making.
