SREE Hotels is seeking a creative and detailed-oriented in-house  Interior Design Manager with experience in the hotel / hospitality industry. The person hired for this position will work at our corporate office located in the  Piper Glen / Ballantyne area of Charlotte .

For more information, visit our website at SREE.The Interior Design Manager will report to the corporate design & construction team, and will take responsibility for the delivery of soft renovations and focused service renovation projects. The role also includes responsibility for presentation work on behalf of the D&C team, ad-hoc administrative assistance to the design team and coordination with the general administration team.

Fulfill the designer role on small like-for-like or limited design scope (small soft renovation) projects

Work closely with the design & construction team to establish design direction and key brand identity elements

Coordinate with architects, contractors, suppliers and on-site hotel management during the construction or renovation phase

Ensure compliance to building codes, safety regulations, and accessibility guidelines

Prepare design narratives and material boards

Manage the fixtures, furnishings, and equipment (FF&E) library

Two years of interior design experience in the hospitality-related industry

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or equivalent work experience

Experience with procurement, project management, and design products and finishes

Ability to balance creative and technical thinking in both the architecture and interior design discipline

Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and resources

Experience with design documentation for construction documents and shop drawings

Experience with design specifications for hospitality, such as codes, durability, and operational requirements

Strong graphic skills, including hand drawn and / or digital illustration

Experience with all things digital like Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam Revu, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams

Experience with AutoCAD and 3D visualization programs, such as SketchUp or Revit

Ability to travel, up to 10%
