About The Position

Must-Have : Experience in providing therapy services across a variety of patient care areas.

Description :

Therapy services are provided to a wide range of patient care areas, including medicine, surgery, orthopedics, neurology, cardiopulmonary, and oncology.

Employees will work Monday through Friday, 0700-1530, with a flexible start time up to 0800.

One weekend shift (Saturday and Sunday) will be required every four weeks, resulting in a day off during that week.

Candidates should possess strong communication skills and a desire to work with various patient populations.

Responsibilities include assessments, documentation, patient and family education, and ensuring safety and injury prevention.

This role is primarily focused on inpatient patient care.

Essential skills include acute care experience, adaptive devices, patient evaluation, discharge planning, and providing educational resources for patients and families.

Candidates will collaborate with healthcare providers and may float within any therapy service line to meet facility needs.

Documentation must be completed in accordance with departmental policies.

Knowledge of EPIC charting system is preferred.

Required skills also include vital sign monitoring, treatment planning, and using specialized patient handling equipment.

The position is suitable for individuals committed to patient-centered care and education.

Floating to other facilities is not required.
