As a Painter at United Rentals, you will be responsible for the preparation of various surfaces and the application of paints, enamels, stains, shellac, and varnishes or other finishes on equipment.

What you'll do :

• 1 : 1 with Lead Painter regarding their daily priorities
• Confirm correct paint colors for each unit
• Bleed out air compressor to assure there is no moisture
• Clean and inspect paint gun
• Inspect prepped units for quality
• Apply pre-cleaner with Tack Rag to clean surface
• Suit up (Head cover, Paint suit, Respirator, Gloves, etc.)
• Apply primer to any exposed metal and apply base coat
• Conduct final inspection of all units to ensure the job was completed accurately
• Tool maintenance : clean / flush paint guns, collect all tools and put them back
• Inspect work area to assure that the booth is left the same before the paint process
• Other duties assigned as needed
